Set in Stone' is a photograph of a plaster cast of bark beetle routes in the tree bark. The photograph's resemblance to an archaeological artefact represents an attempt to immortalize something that is meant to decay or usually is replaced (bark beetle infested wood is considered unsuitable for construction). Aleksandravičiūtė ponders how casting routes of bark beetles can become an act of deep care.
